This role is part of Sysco's Sygma Kansas City operations. This position is responsible for hand-building pallets of product and loading them onto trailers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and customer standards while maintaining food safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Reads pick sheets and travels to proper warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks proper product type and quantity, labels products, and loads pallets onto trucks according to proper zone, location, and established standards.
• Handles products and builds pallets according to established food safety procedures.
• Ensures warehouse is maintained cleanly and safely.
• Communicates with management regarding issues.
• Operates warehouse equipment safely.
• Completes paperwork and uses a wearable computer for productivity reporting.
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular attendance, and works overtime as needed.
