The Lead IBM Maximo Technical Consultant role is onsite in Washington, DC. Pay is $40–$41 per hour. ZipStaff is recruiting for enterprise asset management modernization and infrastructure initiatives for a transportation organization. The consultant provides technical leadership for Maximo upgrades, migrations, integrations, and production cutovers. By coordinating application and infrastructure work across technical teams, the role supports reliable, secure modernization of mission-critical enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Lead Maximo upgrade, re-platforming, and migration projects from architecture through deployment and post-go-live support
• guide upgrades toward Maximo Application Suite 9 and containerized Red Hat OpenShift deployments
• direct VMware-to-Hyper-V and Oracle database migration work
• design and maintain Maximo Integration Framework integrations
• troubleshoot across Maximo, WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle, certificates, networking, and middleware
• prepare technical designs, deployment playbooks, rollback procedures, and performance guidance
• coordinate technical validation and cutovers.
