What you'll do

• Prepare food using standard menus, recipes, production worksheets, and special diet requirements
• follow food handling and storage guidelines
• test and record food and storage temperatures
• discard expired or contaminated food
• prevent cross-contamination
• serve meals with appropriate portion control and presentation
• clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
• store and reheat leftovers properly
• assist department staff with production, service, and cleanup
• follow infection control and safety procedures.
