The engineer supports infrastructure for NewsBreak’s Ads and Recommendations products, which power its personalized local news and information platform. The role builds and improves systems across the machine-learning lifecycle, including training, serving, monitoring, and feature platforms. Its work helps ML teams ship reliable models, reduce latency and cost, and move models from development to production more effectively.

What you'll do

• Design and develop machine-learning infrastructure
• own and enhance systems for offline and online model training, pipeline health monitoring, model serving, feature authoring, and feature serving
• proactively address infrastructure issues that may affect production
• collaborate with machine-learning engineers to build robust model pipelines.
