Certified Medical Assistant — Urology

Job overview

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Spokane, WA. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The position supports the delivery of urological services and effective patient care in the affiliated medical practice. The role combines routine clinical and administrative work to keep the medical office operating smoothly. The assistant prepares patients and rooms, supports physicians, maintains accurate records, and coordinates with clinical staff to contribute to efficient care and desired patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under a supervisor
• coordinate patient appointments
• greet and prepare patients
• measure vital signs and record histories
• provide patient education
• prepare patients for examinations and perform screening tests
• assist physicians
• collect specimens and perform basic lab tests
• prepare and administer medications with physician authorization
• maintain accurate records and patient logs
• support room turnover and office procedures
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and practice requirements.

Why this role

Medical Assistant certification or registration and BLS certification required; graduate of a Medical Assistant program and high school diploma or equivalent required. Six months of physician-office experience is desired; urology experience is desired. Minimal travel required.
