What you'll do

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• interpret electronic fetal monitoring and escalate concerning findings
• manage oxytocin per protocol
• support labor and deliveries, including operating-room duties as required
• administer high-risk obstetric medications
• stabilize newborns and initiate neonatal resuscitation pending NICU response
• assess and manage postpartum hemorrhage
• respond to obstetric emergencies
• document care
• delegate appropriately
• follow infection-control and medication procedures.
