What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair plant injection and stretch blow molding machines, auxiliary production equipment, and plant systems
• perform machinery and systems repairs using electrical blueprints
• operate equipment according to procedure and start or restart injection molding machinery
• inspect equipment for worn parts or safety hazards
• clean, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical machinery and electrical systems
• troubleshoot electrical controls, PLCs, circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment
• program PLCs and HMIs using RSLogix and FTView
• follow work instructions and may write, revise, or train others on them
• provide input on modifications and new designs
• conduct root-cause analysis
• maintain a 5S work area and follow safety policies.
