What you'll do

• Operate X-ray equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs
• explain procedures and answer patient questions
• position and move patients for exams
• use ALARA and other radiation protection techniques
• verify physician orders and supporting documentation
• select the correct ICD-10 code for X-ray orders
• maintain a safe and clean work environment
• communicate with physicians
• clean imaging rooms between patients.
