The mechanic maintains and repairs production equipment to support safe, efficient plant operations and minimize downtime. The role also contributes to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement while supporting safety, quality, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, adjust, install, and repair production equipment including conveyors, machines, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders
• fabricate and weld mechanical components
• operate forklifts, lifts, bucket trucks, and hand and power tools
• perform preventive maintenance and continuous improvement
• document calibrations, repairs, and inspections
• maintain repair and test records
• follow safety requirements and promote a positive safety culture.
