Job overview

The Landscape & Garden Maintenance Lead II role is onsite in Oakland, CA, with pay of $32–$34 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Farmscape designs, installs, and maintains sustainable landscapes throughout California. The lead works alongside a team to care for gardens and landscapes, plan daily work, and address plant and irrigation issues. The role supports quality field work and communicates site conditions, supply needs, and outstanding tasks to the manager.

What you'll do

• Lead and work with the team to maintain gardens and landscapes
• plant, prune, weed, water, and harvest
• address common pest and plant issues
• program irrigation timers and troubleshoot irrigation
• plan seasonal planting, crop rotation, and harvests
• assign daily tasks
• report site problems and supply needs
• maintain tools and work areas
• drive between project sites and vendors.
