What you'll do

• Receive steel materials and customer deliveries
• verify deliveries against tickets, packing slips, work orders, and receiving documents
• confirm quantities and inspect for visible damage
• report shortages and discrepancies
• coordinate safe loading and unloading
• tag and identify materials by customer, job, and work order
• maintain traceability
• direct materials to receiving, staging, and storage areas
• complete receiving paperwork and inventory checks
• communicate material availability and issues to production and supervisors
• follow safety and quality procedures.
