The Flower Crew Assistant Manager role is onsite at the West Tisbury Flower Farm, near Edgartown, MA; compensation is $17.00–$18.50 per hour. The position supports Morning Glory Farm’s effort to grow and supply flowers and food for the Martha’s Vineyard community. The assistant manager supports the Flower Crew Manager with flower production, harvest, sales preparation, and crew training. The role helps maintain crop quality and farm operations while supporting staff development and daily flower sales.

What you'll do

• Support the farm manager and owner with flower-farm work
• supervise, train, and support the flower crew under the manager’s direction
• assist with seeding, propagation, cultivation, and harvesting
• help direct tasks and fill in for the Flower Crew Manager when needed
• inspect farm and facilities and report plant or livestock issues
• harvest and arrange 25 farmers’ bouquets daily for sale
• assist with other farm areas during slower production months
• care for farm equipment and tools.
