What you'll do

• Conduct daily or per-shift safety walkarounds
• help plan and run pool events
• supervise and evaluate lifeguard and swim-instruction staff
• monitor water chemicals and the pool deck
• teach swim lessons
• observe patrons and enforce safety rules
• administer first aid or artificial resuscitation
• train staff on facility policies
• maintain pool deck areas
• manage swim lesson and competitive swimming programs
• maintain rotation and training records
• assist with special swimming activities
• respond to patron and pool problems
• support emergency plans.
