Part-Time Dance Instructor

The Part-Time Dance Instructor role is in person at elementary schools across the Bay Area, with the listing location in Los Altos, CA. Pay is $50–$65 per class. The program helps elementary students build confidence, coordination, and creativity through dance. The instructor leads age-appropriate classes for children ages 5–10, prepares equipment, manages attendance and student sign-in/out, and communicates with families and school staff. Classes generally last 1–1.5 hours and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; two or more days weekly are preferred.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage dance classes of approximately 8–10 students in grades K–5
• teach age-appropriate activities and routines
• prepare and set up equipment
• take attendance and manage student sign-in/sign-out
• communicate with parents and school staff and provide constructive progress feedback
• take session photos following program guidance.
