Sheet Metal Helper, Level 2

Job overview

The Sheet Metal Helper, Level 2 role is onsite in Williams, MN, and is travel-based for out-of-state construction projects; pay is $25–$28 per hour. The helper supports journeyman sheet metal workers, leadmen, and foremen with installation, layout, material handling, and jobsite safety. This work helps crews install and maintain insulated panels and metal wall systems on construction projects.

What you'll do

• Assist with insulation, insulated metal panel, flashing, trim, siding, and metal wall system installation
• measure, mark, cut, drill, fasten, and seal materials under supervision
• support panel alignment and custom component installation
• assist with repairs and field modifications
• stage materials and tools
• work from ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts
• follow OSHA and site safety requirements, including fall protection
• record time accurately.
