Maintenance Project Manager

The Maintenance Project Manager works onsite across residential communities in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. Pay is $26–$34 per hour. The role supports building maintenance and capital improvements for an established nonprofit housing organization. The position coordinates maintenance projects, contractors, schedules, costs, and quality across multiple properties while providing technical guidance to maintenance technicians. It also contributes hands-on troubleshooting and repair support to keep building systems and residential communities maintained.

What you'll do

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and capital-improvement projects
• manage schedules, priorities, costs, materials, and timelines
• evaluate contractor proposals
• coordinate vendors and inspect completed work
• support preventive maintenance and safety/code compliance
• interpret drawings and specifications
• maintain project records and report progress
• guide maintenance technicians
• assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and general building repairs
• travel among communities and respond to emergency calls within one hour when required.
