Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes in Manassas, VA, with travel throughout Prince William County and surrounding areas. Pay is $17–$21 per hour, based on licensing and experience. Always Family HomeCare provides in-home support to clients, including older adults. The caregiver assists a wheelchair-bound client with daily activities and transportation to physical therapy appointments. The role supports safe home routines and quality of life while following the RN Supervisor’s instructions and reporting relevant observations.

What you'll do

• Assist with hygiene, bathing, oral care, and dressing
• help with food preparation, errands, light housekeeping, laundry, and dishes
• drive the client to physical therapy appointments
• observe and report safety hazards and changes in condition
• report complaints and abnormal findings to the RN Supervisor
• and attend meetings and required annual in-service training.

Why this role

Requires two years of caregiver experience and a CNA license or certificate, PCA, or HHA credential. A current driver’s license, reliable transportation, current TB test, background check, and drug screen are required. Preferred schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 AM–1 PM to start.
