The CNC Programmer role is onsite in Mukilteo, WA, on a 9/80 schedule with hours of 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The annual salary range is $82,000–$130,000. The role supports Karman Space & Defense’s Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which develops missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions.

What you'll do

• Develop machining processes for complex components using Mastercam
• design strategies and fixtures for three-, four-, and five-axis CNC machines
• own assigned projects through production release and ongoing support
• troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor
• improve existing programs and processes
• interpret CMM reports and inspection results
• validate setups with precision measuring tools
• provide manufacturability feedback
• mentor machinists and support programming and CAM workflow improvements.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of hands-on Mastercam programming, print reading, GD&T, and ability to interpret CMM reports. A current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one is required; an associate degree or higher and G and M code skills are preferred.
