What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Nursing with planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing department functions
• help maintain policies and procedures
• coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• participate in facility surveys
• support discharge planning and administrative reporting
• monitor quality and survey reports
• assist with staffing, recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• make rounds and review nursing documentation
• monitor medication passes and treatment schedules
• provide direct nursing care as necessary
• participate in training, safety, and care planning
• protect resident confidentiality.
