What you'll do

• Oversee nursing and non-nursing personnel
• provide clinical and nonclinical guidance
• delegate responsibilities and assess staff expertise
• perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
• develop and document plans of care
• communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• conduct leader rounding
• monitor care quality and outcomes
• assist the Nurse Manager with staffing, budget, and recruitment planning.

Why this role

Must have operating room experience; gynecologic surgery experience is strongly preferred. New York State Registered Nurse license required; nursing diploma or associate degree required. Specialty certification and a bachelor’s degree in nursing are preferred. BLS and RN credentials are listed.
