Manufacturing Facilities Technician

The Manufacturing Facilities Technician role is onsite in the Quincy, MA area, with a Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–2:30 p.m. schedule and occasional overtime available. Compensation is not specified. The technician supports safe and efficient plant operations by maintaining facility systems. The role exists to inspect, maintain, and repair plant facilities systems and document work in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations. It contributes to reliable plant operations through preventive maintenance, emergency response, and support for shutdown and snow-removal activities.

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression, HVAC, steam, plumbing, building, and grounds systems
• respond on call to plant fire alarms and facilities emergencies
• test fire suppression systems and document results
• read work orders, blueprints, and P&IDs
• perform snow removal
• enter work-order data
• maintain reports and records
• support annual plant shutdowns
• maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts.
