The Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Senior — Top Secret Clearance is an onsite, full-time role in Quantico, VA, paying $130,000–$145,000 per year. Agile Defense supports the FBI under an ISSO/ISSE program management objective as part of its work supporting national security and critical civilian missions. The ISSO develops and applies a documented method for categorizing FBI information systems, aligning security and operational attributes with applicable federal standards. The role also supports risk analysis, labor and cost reporting, audit readiness, and updates to categorization and reporting workflows.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain a documented methodology for categorizing FBI IT systems
• apply it to assigned systems
• align the methodology with FIPS-199, NIST RMF, CNSS policies, and FBI directives
• analyze risk, operational impact, and security posture
• document system grouping and labor mapping
• coordinate with program leadership and reviewers
• contribute to labor allocation and cost-recovery reporting
• support ATO lifecycle activities, POA&M tracking, risk assessments, compliance documentation, audit readiness, and approved automation.
