The CNC Machinist, Levels I–III and Senior (Day or Swing Shift) role is onsite at Therm-x of California’s Modesto, CA facility. Pay is $25–$35 per hour. Therm-x manufactures advanced temperature and control systems for high-technology industries. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to produce parts to job requirements, using prints and setup information to guide machining. The role contributes to quality and production efficiency by adjusting programs and tooling, troubleshooting issues, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with programming, quality, and production teams.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
• work with multi-axis and mill/turn equipment
• interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets
• install tooling, set work offsets, load programs, and make adjustments
• troubleshoot machining issues and optimize quality and efficiency
• maintain machines and an orderly work area
• collaborate with programming, quality, and production teams.
