The Home Health Aide (HHA) role is onsite in Pembroke Pines, FL, providing care in patients’ homes throughout the assigned service area. Compensation is not specified. The Roads Home Health Care is a licensed, Medicare-certified home health agency serving communities across Florida. Under a Registered Nurse or licensed therapist’s supervision, the aide follows each patient’s Plan of Care and provides personal and supportive care. The role promotes patient comfort, safety, independence, and dignity while documenting visits and reporting changes to the supervising clinician.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, and skin care
• assist with mobility and range-of-motion exercises as directed
• support meals and nutrition
• perform care-related light housekeeping
• remind patients about medications as directed
• observe and report condition changes
• document care and visits
• follow the Plan of Care and scope of practice
• protect confidentiality
• use infection-control practices
• report safety concerns
• communicate with patients, families, and the care team
• attend required in-services and evaluations.

Why this role

Requires a current Florida Home Health Aide Certificate from a minimum 75-hour training program or a current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license, current CPR certification, and Level 2 background screening. Travel throughout the assigned service area is required.
