After-School Cooking Teacher

The After-School Cooking Teacher role is onsite at assigned schools in Daly City, CA. Pay is $28 per hour. LIFT Enrichment provides hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools and reports having taught more than 75,000 students since 2010.

What you'll do

• Lead groups of 15–20 students through hands-on cooking activities
• teach healthy recipes using provided curriculum
• introduce basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety
• keep students engaged
• manage setup, cooking, and cleanup
• shop for groceries and prepare ingredients as needed
• and transport program supplies to school.
