Travel Clinical Pharmacist I

What you'll do

• Prepare and dispense medications
• verify medication orders and maintain patient medication records
• compound sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition
• monitor drug therapy and report adverse reactions
• provide clinical consultation and medication education
• support renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and IV-to-PO conversion
• participate in stewardship and medication-use review
• and supervise pharmacy support personnel. A current Louisiana pharmacist license and AHA BLS or ACLS are required. Shifts vary from 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
• every other weekend includes two 10-hour shifts. No call or floating.
