Equipment Operator

What you'll do

• Operate equipment to complete assigned objectives and tasks
• communicate with laborers and crew
• address and report safety concerns
• participate in plan-of-day meetings and pre-job briefings
• help restore and maintain jobsite order and cleanliness
• set up safety devices
• load and unload equipment
• inspect vehicles and trailers and ensure DOT compliance
• stock supplies and keep equipment organized
• dig with a shovel and hydraulic equipment
• locate, dig up, and expose existing utilities without damaging property
• guide laborers and speak with customers as needed.
