Project Engineer

What you'll do

• Support project managers and other departments
• coordinate estimating transitions and material procurement
• assist with monthly billing and review certain vendor and subcontractor invoices
• understand project scope, budget, and deadlines
• review construction plans and prepare material take-offs
• manage document control and distribution
• prepare project correspondence
• manage cost estimates, budgets, and change orders
• make field visits to help resolve issues and verify progress, safety, and quantities
• coordinate technical issue resolution
• track schedules and report project status using project management tools.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree and construction project engineering experience, including familiarity with FDOT construction plans. Civil Engineering or Construction Management education and Bluebeam experience are preferred.
