Part-Time Dockworker - Inbound Shift

The Part-Time Dockworker - Inbound Shift role is onsite in Grand Prairie, TX. Pay is $25 per hour. The position supports Daylight Transport’s Operations department in moving freight across the dock. The role helps move freight safely and accurately by operating or manually handling freight, completing inspections and paperwork, and maintaining a clean work area. The schedule starts Sunday at 8 p.m. for 4–6 hours and Tuesday through Friday at 3 a.m. for 4–6 hours each day.

What you'll do

• Pre-trip forklifts
• complete pre-loading and post-unloading trailer inspections
• safely load and unload freight using a forklift or manually
• verify freight against movement bills or cross-dock documentation
• follow dock paperwork procedures
• attend scheduled safety and training meetings
• keep the dock and associated areas clean and orderly.
