Home Health Aide

Job overview

The Home Health Aide role is onsite in East Boston, MA, for 25 hours per week across five shifts from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday rotations. Pay is $17–$22 per hour, and the posting offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus. The aide supports Neighborhood PACE participants with in-home assistance. The role helps participants follow their care plans and manage activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, while communicating changes or concerns to the care team and supporting safe, respectful care.

What you'll do

• Follow participant ADL/IADL care plans and document care
• check voicemail at shift start and every two hours
• report abnormal findings, status changes, or care refusals
• assist with daily activities
• accompany participants to assigned appointments
• perform simple treatments under nursing direction, including simple catheter care and skin assessments during personal care.
