The Behavior Consultant (Independent Contractor) role provides community-based services in the Newfoundland, PA area, including Carbon, Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne counties. Pay is $39 per hour for non-ABA work or $41 per hour for ABA-qualified work. The role supports Devereux Pocono Center’s IBHS services for children and adolescents. The role exists to design and direct individualized behavioral intervention and treatment plans for children or adolescents and their families. It contributes to coordinated, family-centered care through assessment, clinical services, collaboration with treatment teams, and documentation of progress.

What you'll do

• Provide expertise in behavioral management protocols
• collaborate with treatment team members to design and direct individualized behavior intervention plans
• identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques
• develop treatment plans and outcome-based short-term goals
• assess children’s and families’ strengths and therapeutic needs
• participate in Inter-Agency Service Planning Team meetings
• gather information on antecedents, behaviors, and consequences
• coordinate with involved professionals and agencies
• provide clinical services and written documentation
• submit billing documentation
• maintain confidentiality
• act as a mandated reporter
• travel to site visits and meetings
• provide coverage in emergency situations.
