Salesforce Architect

Job overview

The Salesforce Architect role is onsite in McLean, VA, and is limited to local candidates within commuting distance. Compensation is not specified. The architect will lead enterprise Salesforce solution design and technical implementation. The role exists to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance Salesforce solutions. It provides technical direction across Salesforce clouds and integrations, guides implementation teams, and establishes architecture, development, deployment, and governance practices that support business objectives.

What you'll do

• Design and implement Salesforce architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards
• lead solution design and implementation across Salesforce clouds and applications
• define architecture standards, design patterns, integration strategies, and development practices
• architect integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
• provide technical leadership to developers, administrators, and implementation teams
• oversee data modeling, migration, security, identity management, and access controls
• design with Salesforce Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components
• support scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability
• collaborate with stakeholders and enterprise architects
• establish code quality, deployment, CI/CD, and governance practices
• guide troubleshooting and architecture reviews.
