CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

The CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift is an onsite, full-time role in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The machinist produces precision parts for drilling and geotechnical equipment, supporting dimensional accuracy and product quality.

What you'll do

• Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM software
• perform setups, select fixtures and tooling, and set offsets
• machine close-tolerance parts from steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys
• inspect finished parts against blueprints
• troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
• mentor CNC operators and assistants
• maintain production and inspection records.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of CNC machining experience, G-code proficiency, and ability to work to ±0.001-inch tolerances. Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, CAM software, and experience with drill rods or downhole tools are preferred.
