What you'll do

• Lead electrical system design for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems
• develop project goals, specifications, and strategies
• review engineering documents for quality and compliance
• perform load, short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies
• review submittals and construction documents
• develop testing plans, reports, and relay programs
• support technicians with troubleshooting
• coordinate project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
• mentor junior engineers and drafters
• participate in site visits and construction meetings
• and collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical-focused architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited program and seven or more years of relevant experience. PE licensure is preferred; EIT certification is required if not PE-licensed, unless the stated additional experience alternative applies. Occasional overtime or evening/weekend hours may be needed.
