Material Handler II

The Material Handler II role is onsite in Ashburn, VA. Compensation is $25 per hour. The position supports M.C. The role manages warehouse material flow by receiving, verifying, storing, tracking, and issuing stock. What you'll do

• Receive, verify, and count stock
• record inventory data
• compare inventory computations with physical counts
• investigate and reconcile discrepancies
• pack and unpack items
• label stock
• maintain clean and safe storage areas
• determine appropriate storage methods and locations
• inspect stock for damage and report issues
• maintain usage and damage records
• learn and use internal material and equipment systems
• respond to inquiries about materials and processes
• assist with training less experienced staff when appropriate
• use advanced Microsoft Excel reporting and tracking functions
• support project staff as needed.

Why this role

Requires three or more years of demonstrated experience with a high school diploma, or two or more years with an associate degree. Forklift and telehandler experience or certification is desired. The role includes lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds and working at heights up to 60 feet.
