Paraeducator — Classroom and 1:1 Student Support

The paraeducator helps students participate in classwork, routines, and daily activities while reinforcing teacher directions and supporting social, behavioral, and independent living skills. The role follows student plans and communicates student needs to teachers and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Support classwork, routines, and daily activities
• reinforce lessons and directions from the classroom teacher
• help students develop social, behavioral, and independent living skills
• monitor behavior
• follow IEP and 504 plans as directed
• assist with school activities and personal care when required
• communicate with teachers and supervisors.
