People Operations Manager

The People Operations Manager works onsite in East Syracuse, NY. Compensation is $110,000–$130,000 annually, with eligibility for a profit-sharing bonus targeted at 10%. The role leads the People & Culture team’s employee lifecycle operations and supports INFICON’s instrumentation, sensor technology, and industrial software business. This manager oversees HR operations, compliance, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee-relations processes. The role exists to strengthen employee experience and operational integrity while scaling people programs in line with business objectives.

What you'll do

• Oversee employee lifecycle processes, employment-law compliance, immigration processes, P&C policies, benefits administration, and leave management
• improve P&C operations
• lead compensation benchmarking and annual salary reviews
• oversee benefits programs and vendor relationships
• monitor equity and market competitiveness
• support program design and communications
• analyze benefits use and employee feedback
• provide leadership reporting
• manage the RPO partnership and recruiting metrics
• partner on staffing forecasts and workforce planning
• maintain employee-relations documentation and reporting.
