Floor Technician

Job overview

The Floor Technician role is onsite at a long-term care facility in Binghamton/Endicott, NY. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The position supports facility cleanliness at a rehabilitation and nursing facility. The technician maintains floors and operates and cares for floor-cleaning equipment to help keep the facility clean and orderly. The role also handles facility garbage and other related duties as needed.

What you'll do

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, strip, wax, refinish, and buff facility floors
• safely operate floor-care equipment
• maintain equipment and store it in designated locations
• dispose of facility garbage
• perform other job-related duties as required.
