Assembly Worker, First Shift

The Assembly Worker, First Shift role is onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, with pay of $15 per hour. The schedule is 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for a long-term client of Nesco Resource. The role supports production by assembling and inspecting metal products while following work, quality, and safety procedures. It also helps maintain an orderly work area and accurate production and quality records so products and operations meet established requirements.

What you'll do

• Assemble metal products at a bench or on the shop floor
• fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners
• use hand files and scrapers to achieve close fits
• operate machines to production standards
• inspect parts
• record production and quality information
• follow work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements
• keep the workstation and surrounding area clean.
