What you'll do

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for union and construction employees
• interpret collective bargaining agreements, wage sheets, classifications, and union requirements
• code payroll by union local, trade, classification, project, cost code, and benefit package
• manage payroll across multiple classifications, rates, and job sites
• calculate straight time, overtime, premium rates, prevailing wages, and contractual pay
• calculate and remit fringe benefit contributions
• process union dues and authorized deductions
• prepare union reports, fringe remittances, and certified payroll reports including WH347
• reconcile timecards, payroll registers, union reports, and job-cost allocations
• research discrepancies, maintain audit trails, and support audits
• maintain confidential records and comply with wage and payroll tax regulations.
