The Industrial Controls Field Service Specialist role is onsite in North Kansas City, MO, with compensation of $30–$40 per hour. The role serves municipal water and wastewater facilities through field service for electrical controls and process instrumentation. The specialist maintains, installs, calibrates, and troubleshoots control and instrumentation systems to help keep water and wastewater equipment operating. The work includes pump controls, variable frequency drives, electrical panels, field instruments, and customer communication; emergency response and work outside normal hours may be required.

What you'll do

• Service and maintain electrical controls at water and wastewater facilities
• install, start up, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instruments
• perform startup, repairs, retrofits, and maintenance on pump control systems
• complete wiring, conduit, panel setup, and service entrance work
• support electrical system planning and installation
• diagnose issues and provide field service
• respond to emergencies, including travel and work outside normal hours
• communicate with customers and teammates
• follow safety procedures.
