The 2027–2028 Assistant in Training Internship – The Lido & 21 Golf Club is an onsite, two-facility program beginning in Nekoosa, WI, and continuing in Aiken, SC. Employment, compensation, and benefits are administered separately for each program phase under the employing entity’s policies. The program is a partnership between Sand Valley and 21 Golf Club. The internship develops agronomy expertise, leadership capability, and operational judgment through hands-on golf-course operations and mentorship. The assistant supports course maintenance, irrigation, turf health, crew coordination, equipment, and operational planning at both facilities.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily planning, staffing schedules, and maintenance
• perform course setup, mowing, rolling, bunker care, and irrigation operation
• train and guide seasonal team members
• support irrigation, drainage, water management, and turf health programs
• assist with fertilizer, aeration, and pest-management applications
• support construction and renovation projects
• assist with equipment care, purchasing, inventory, and records
• support course and facility management, scheduling, irrigation, maintenance programs, budgeting, and operational planning at the second facility.
