What you'll do

• Process transactions using the cash register and point-of-sale system

• follow SNAP and WIC procedures
• issue receipts and change
• greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues
• comply with regulations for weights, measures, alcohol, and tobacco sales
• identify products
• bag merchandise
• suggest additional products or services
• maintain a clean checkout area
• stock merchandise as needed
• communicate with customers and team members
• assist with cashier training when directed.

Why this role
