What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, teardown, inspection, repair, fitting, and reassembly of precision injection molds
• diagnose tooling defects and failures
• troubleshoot mold performance with process technicians and engineers
• repair or modify components using precision machining
• operate toolroom equipment as appropriate
• interpret drawings and verify dimensions
• support new mold builds, sampling, debugging, engineering changes, and production transfers
• document maintenance and repairs under site quality procedures.

Why this role

Requires five years of hands-on mold making, toolmaking, or injection mold maintenance experience and experience with plastic injection molds. High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or trade training preferred. Medical-device or other regulated manufacturing experience is preferred.
