Lead Transmission Line Engineer in Aurora, CO. This is a remote position. The pay range is $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 per year. Leidos is a technology leader serving government and commercial customers with innovative digital and mission solutions.

What you'll do

• Manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission.
• Serve as a Lead Engineer and Project Manager on electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems.
• Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects.
• Direct a team of engineers that regularly perform engineering analyses, PLS-CADD modeling, structure loading calculations, design structure framing and hardware assemblies, draft plans and specifications, and prepare bill of materials and procurement documents.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

8+ years with Bachelor's, 6+ years with Master's
