The Executive Director, Product Quality role is onsite in Brighton, MA. Compensation is $240,000–$305,000 per year. Aura Biosciences is developing bel-sar, a therapy candidate for ocular cancers, with a mission to improve patient outcomes while preserving vision and quality of life. The executive leads Product Quality strategy across late-stage development, regulatory submission, commercial manufacturing, launch readiness, and lifecycle management. The role integrates quality oversight across internal functions and external partners to support compliant products, patient safety, and commercial readiness.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute Product Quality strategy
• provide senior oversight across CMC, manufacturing, analytical and QC activities, suppliers, and external partners
• lead BLA and inspection readiness
• oversee quality risk management, validation, stability, specifications, investigations, and CAPAs
• lead the Product Quality workstream for commercial readiness and launch
• build and develop the Product Quality organization
• and partner with Technical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Clinical Development, and other Quality leaders.
