Full-Time Driver

The Full-Time Driver role is onsite in Centralia, IL, with a typical split-shift schedule Monday–Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour for non-CDL drivers or $17.50 per hour for drivers with a passenger-endorsed CDL, plus a $0.50 increase after 90 days. South Central Illinois Mass Transit District provides public transportation to area communities.

What you'll do

• Drive assigned routes safely to pick up and drop off community members
• maintain a friendly demeanor with the public
• and sanitize and clean vehicles as needed. Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license and clean record, and be able to obtain or possess a Class C CDL with passenger endorsement
• a high school diploma, GED, or related experience is required.
