This role utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with healthcare professionals and residents/families to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN is responsible for resident assessment, education, and interventions.

What you'll do

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise.
• Perform age and population specific standards.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks.
• Ensure resident health, comfort, and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicate resident's changing condition.
• Counsel residents on prevention and treatment plans.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Experience

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
