Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, supporting Cottages of White Bear and Eastwood Village apartments in White Bear Lake and Oakdale. Pay is $20–$22 per hour, and the schedule is 27 hours per week across the two properties. The assistant works under the direction of the Property Manager and may operate the community in that manager’s absence. The role supports day-to-day apartment community operations through leasing, resident relations, financial processing, and coordination of property procedures. It helps maintain service for residents and prospects while assisting with sales, marketing, accounting, and maintenance tasks.

What you'll do

• Accept rent and follow up on delinquencies
• post rent and miscellaneous income receipts
• follow up on NSF checks
• handle evictions and refer bad debts for collection
• manage petty cash
• process invoices
• support leasing and resident relations
• answer telephone calls
• plan social activities as needed
• follow owner and management procedures.
