The Registered Nurse (RN) — PRN, 12-Hour Day Shifts, Veterans Facility role is onsite in Flagstaff, AZ. Compensation is $60–$63.50 per hour. The position is a PRN opportunity supporting a geriatric population at a veterans care facility. The nurse administers medications and treatments, assesses residents, documents care, and communicates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The role supports resident care and may supervise or assist CNA/LPN staff and participate in quality improvement activities as needed.

What you'll do

• Administer medications and treatments within RN scope
• complete admission assessments and assist with MDS care planning
• monitor resident conditions and report changes
• maintain clinical documentation and EMR records
• communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• support CNA/LPN staff as needed
• assist with activities of daily living when required
• participate in shift reports, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Why this role

PRN/as-needed with no guaranteed hours. Day and night 12-hour shifts are available; the day shift is 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Requires an active Arizona RN license, at least one year of RN experience, CPR/BLS, and a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
